Friends of Ukraine Refugees Awarded Grant from Confluence Health and WVMG Community Partnership Fund
Confluence Health and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group recently announced that their Community Partnership Fund has awarded a grant this year to Friends of Ukraine Refugees.
Funded jointly by Confluence Health and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group (WVMG), the largest physician group affiliated with Confluence Health, the grant is administered by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington.
Friends of Ukraine Refugees will use the funds for legal immigration assistance for Ukraine refugees.
“We are incredibly thankful for the contribution to this work from Confluence Health and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group through their Community Partnership Fund,” commented Suzi Pitts, Vice President and Volunteer Coordinator of Friends of Ukraine Refugees. “This grant will be very beneficial to continue our work assisting refugees in our community.”
Friends of Ukraine Refugees helps refugee families resettle and thrive in Central Washington. They have helped more than 50 families from Ukraine find housing, obtain legal services for immigration, secure resources and critical support as they stabilize and build new lives in Washington state.
